As some types of dementia progress, a person may start to behave differently.
This can be challenging for both the person who has dementia and their carer. In this course, we will look at common changes in behaviour and how we can adapt to them.
Before we are able to adjust to different behaviours we need to learn and understand the feelings we have been experiencing. These are not always easy to identify or talk about but it is important to find helpful ways of expressing these. These may be by keeping a journal, talking to someone like a counsellor or therapist or joining a support group.
